We loved Reel and Creel so much we ate there three days running. We ordered dinner in advance and it was ready on time and twice we had a walk up lunch in the Bamburgh car park. Note that you don’t need to pay for parking if you’re visiting the van. We are just about everything on the menu over three meals, from the lip smacking burger, the chilli prawn burger (10/10!) to lobster, all accompanied with lovely crisp fries, lightly salted and great on their own. This is real fresh food, so if you’re not prepared to wait a few minutes it’s probably not for you and top tip for lunch, be there early to ensure the full range is available. Great discovery, already looking forward to 2024. Ooh, and for Beadnell the caravan park is no cars, so park outside the park entrance in the public park area and walk in. The farm postcode is accurate, hopefully that’s helpful for you all to visit and enjoy the fab...

Sometimes you find something extraordinary purely by chance. We were having a walk along the beach from our caravan at Seahouses to see Bamburgh Castle close up. We popped up onto the nearby road and spotted toilets and a butty van. This is no ordinary butty van. The food here is unreal. This is fine dining.....in a car park! We both had a Double Bacon & Cheese Burger and some salty fries. Believe me when I say that the look on my face is wonderment and pleasure, and that's before I've tucked in. I could just tell this was top quality. Proper lush! Without doubt the best burger I've ever had. After the first mouthful the first words out of my mouth were "Oh my!" The taste was pure pleasure. Top quality produce cooked to perfection by people who care about food. Thank you so much guys. All I can say is please, please give...

We visited as a family of four and LOVED the whole experience! It's a simple friendly set up (do bring a picnic blanket as there are only a few picnic tables) where the focus is very much on the food- which was superb!! Mum and dad had scallops, fried calamari and salted chips- the fish was cooked to perfection and tasted divine with the accompanying sauces. The kids had sausage and chips- which ticked their boxes and was yummy apparently! This simple set up exceeded our expectations: It's a real find and we loved that it was a little off the beaten track from Bamburgh Castle, where we could enjoy a walk on the beach/ in the dunes with a view of the castle in the background followed by a delicious relaxing lunch. Thank you to the hosts- it is a popular place and they worked tirelessly to make sure the food arrived as quickly...

Freshly cooked seafood at great value. The lobster was cooked to perfection with a light yet rich garlic butter sauce. The fries were seasoned well with great crunch and worked well soaking up the sauce. Highly recommend the scallops with garlic butter toast. The scallops were sweet, juicy and possibly the biggest scallops I've had in the UK at such a bargain price! The bread was perfectly toasted with crunch and the right crispiness. Arrive early to avoid disappointment as the place does fill up quickly at noon and some dishes do sell out quickly if you come later in the afternoon. Tables and benches available for casual "al-fresco" dining. On a good day you can even see Bamburgh Castle in the backdrop. Once filled up it's a short walk away from Bamburgh beach to burn off the calories! Parking is £4 for the day.
