I haven't been to eat here in years! It was a really nice atmosphere, I found a table with no issues and asked a member of staff if they catered for Coeliac's. I was given a tablet and after I selected Gluten it provided me with a list of meals I could eat gluten free. From front of house staff to the kitchen staff the care they took to ensure there was zero contamination was incredible! I felt so at ease eating my meal (smothered chicken), the lovely chef brought it to my table, my cutlery had been sanitised separately and I had absolutely no effects at all. My only minor problem was the chicken, for me, was too wet and I did not like the sloppy texture, it was taken back and instead of steaming it they grilled it and it tasted far better. I asked if I could request it grilled in the future and was told that if the grill wasn't been used at a busy time (to ensure no cross contamination) they would accommodate me.

A special shout out must go to our server, I'm so mad I forgot to get her name, but she will know who I mean if she sees this review. You were absolutely 'on point' with your customer service, kind, considerate, fantastic to my children and they are lucky to have you.

I look forward to eating here again in the future, you should all be applauded in your knowledge of gluten intolerance and allergies.

Darlys is located just on the outskirts of Hessle on the major outer ring round directly to Hull or the Humber Bridge. There is plenty of onsite parking, with a couple of dedicated disabled bays.

There is a very large seating area suitable for familys with a small section for private reserved tables. Many of the tables are family size and will suit 4-8 people, and can also be merged together to form bigger tables.

There is also an over 18s bar and restaurant area, where there is also a pool table and darts board. TV's are throughout the entire pub and typically show the sports channel unless there is a special event on.

The food is usual pub food, a wide varity of English courses, with dedicated nights throughout the week to different cuisines such as Curry night. Regular offers and meal deals happen throughout the week as well, and both food and drinks are reasonable priced. It is self order so you have to go to the bar yourself to order food, although I'm sure reasonable accomadation can be made for those with disablities. Food portion size is very good, and the quality of food is of good standard.

Entertainment runs a couple of nights a week, with a pub quiz and other activies people can join in for free and win prizes. Though these usually last for a couple of hours and start later into the evening after meal times, and encompassess the whole flooring area via...

Well its the first time i have been in here even though my family i was with have all eaten in here before but it certainly wont be my last time not after i had read the menu with all the days of the week offers on plus the regular extensive menu which is served all the time. There's some great offers to have & because it was Monday my wife & i opted for the Grill Monday offers, she had the steak with fries i had to try The Full Monty Mixed Grill, well for the price it just had to be done & it didn't disappoint. There was everything there & the chicken breasts where gorgeous just cooked right & the gammon was also spot on. Cannot wait to go again on a different day & try another of there money saving offers. Everyone's meal was good so we were all satisfied plus they have a extensive beer garden which would be brilliant in summer they also serve a large range of beers so its gotta be worth a visit.
