Esquires Coffee — Restaurant in England

First of all, the staff were nice which was probably the best thing about the experience and ill give it 2 stars for that. Otherwise a pretty poor experience. Ordered two drinks, a full English and a sandwich. Just as we were about to pay, I noticed we were almost charged for 2 sandwiches, that was the first issue.

Next the food came out and the full English was missing bacon, no butter for the toast and the plate was just wet from the mushrooms. They also didn't give us a pot of tea that we were told comes with the breakfast. We didnt bother asking for all of these things, mainly because we shouldn't have to...I would also, for the price of the breakfast, expect better quality ingredients.

A very popular and busy venue. I was surprised how busy it gets. Would prefer going here as local over well known chains. Had full breakfast. £10.95 was more than I’ve paid elsewhere locally but it did include tea and toast and they had marmalade. Choice of scrambled eggs or poached. Realised that they did t have a job to fry and most food items were either microwaved (scrambled eggs) or ovened. Food on the whole was tasty but faff finding and opening sauces and salt n pepper sachets. Staff friendly to a point but some indifference. Lots of staff members walking round with plates of food they were trying to find recipients for! Not 5 stars because of microwave food and indifferent service....

Plenty of parking, which is a plus. Nicely decorated and plenty of chairs to sit, or if you want more comfort, they have sofas also, another plus. The staff was very friendly, polite, and professional. Rodica greeted me, and she made my day, recommend me what food to try today and for my kids what ice-cream they should try - we come here rarely but she still recognised me, another huge plus. The place looked clean and tidy as it's every time we visit. It's the little things that make you, the customer, feel a bit special and think of their hard work and effort whilst making your food,drink etc. So a big smile and thank you esquires for...
