Gordon's
A world best-seller, extra dry and extra smooth gordon's london dry gin was first produced in 1769 by alexander gordon. Distilled three times, it contains juniper berries that are shaken from the tree, before being stored for two years to intensify the oils and mellow the flavours. Gordon's also contains coriander seeds, angelica root, liquorice, orris root, orange and lemon peel. (37.5% abv)
Bombay Sapphire
The name originates from gin's popularity in india during the british raj and the sapphire in question is the star of bombay on display at the smithsonian institution. Ten ingredients are used to flavour the gin: almond, lemon peel, liquorice, juniper berries, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise. (40% abv)
Hendrick's
Produced by william grant & sons in girvan, scotland, and launched in 1999. In addition to the traditional juniper infusion, hendrick's uses bulgarian rose and cucumber to add flavour. Serve with tonic water over ice garnished with cucumber instead of the traditional citrus. (41.4% abv)
Tiger
The brainchild shropshire businessman jj lawrence. Hand crafted by artisan master distillers for the shropshire gin company using traditional methods in a copper pot with the best quality grain alcohol and pure english water. (40% abv)

Etzio is a truly authentic Italian restaurant located in the heart of Whitchurch, Shropshire. The restaurant is owned and operated by Claudio and Jo, who are both passionate about Italian cuisine. They use only the freshest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, to create their delicious dishes.

The menu at Etzio is extensive, with something to suit everyone's taste. There are classic Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, and risotto, as well as more unusual options such as lamb shank and sea bass. The wine list is also excellent, with a wide variety of Italian wines to choose from.

The service at Etzio is excellent. Claudio and Jo are always happy to recommend dishes and offer their advice. The staff are also friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere at Etzio is warm and inviting. The restaurant is decorated in a traditional Italian style, with terracotta tiles, wooden beams, and chandeliers. There is also a large outdoor terrace, which is perfect for dining al fresco on a warm summer evening.

I have eaten at Etzio on several occasions and have always had a wonderful experience. The food is always delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect. I would highly recommend Etzio to anyone looking for a truly authentic Italian dining experience.

Overall, Etzio Italian restaurant in Whitchurch is a highly rated and popular restaurant with a loyal customer base. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch, making it a great choice for a special occasion or a...

Etzio has just re-opened in Whitchurch, with star local chef Claudio Murru and his wife Jo now in charge. The restaurant is relaxed and friendly, and certainly popular. Not surprising really given one of the best meals I've ever tasted ... We started with warm ciabatta straight from the oven, and very tasty olives, followed by a great plate of calamari. The Salmona alla Siciliana was superb, melting in the mouth with beautifully roasted vegetables. We also had the Ravioli ai Funghi Portini in a great sauce, the Crespelle alla Fiorentina which was a feast in itself, whilst the Pizza Margarita was also cooked to perfection ... Save a little space for deserts, which were fantastic tasty twists on what you might expect, with outstanding ice creams too. Try the Coppa Romolo for a real treat (our kids loved them)! The service was excellent, friendly and efficient, and the whole ambience more like a warm night on a Mediterranean terrace. The prices are very reasonable, and the two course fixed menu for £9.50 a real bargain ... Etzio will definitely become a regular for us, whether for a quick snack midday, relaxed lunch, or a special night out. Etzio is going to do very well, I'm sure, and can't be more...

OMG! I love everything about this place! Maybe because I love Italy, Italians, fine italian dining, vine and on the top of this.....music! This place has it all. The warm welcome atmosphere when you walk in, kind, approchable, bubbly owners, decor, fabulous menu and most importantly food. I have always had an amazing food, never left disappointed. Everything has always met my expectations. Happened that once or twice we had to wait longer for our food, but we were always told that in advance. The dining experience last long in Etzio's, but we go there for experience to enjoy good quality food cooked with passion not to eat fast and go, for that it's Mcdonald! We always enjoy out time in Etzio's and we will be for as long as they will trade. I will never get people who complain about the food on the social media. Did they have not tongue in the mouth to say to the owners at that night so the mistake could easily be fixed? Honestly, they always come ask for our experience and that's very important. Thank...

Tried to get booked in twice and was fully booked gave an impression of a really popular and quality restaurant. Managed to get a cancellation. Menu good and varied. Starter of goats cheese and beetroot salad nice although about a teaspoon of diced beetroot. The staff were friendly and welcoming but managed to get our wine order wrong. My wife's seabass was nicely cooked but something was hard and raw in the roasted veg, not sure what it was. My diavola pizza came without any chillies cooked in it. When I questioned this the waitress said she would have it remade for me. Then came back and said the chef puts the raw chilli on last before serving. Never heard that before! A bit disappointing with the fundemental mistakes but to their credit they didn't charge for the pizza. Would think twice about returning.

We have visited that place on my birthday, I was expecting that pizza will taste like proper Italian one but it was not. It wasn’t nothing special, the same like starters - expensive but not worthy. I have ordered salad with chicken, bacon and chorizo - that was nice, chicken was soft, nothing to complain about. I though I will spend there nice time but after 45 minutes, they have served starters and main dish - I did not have time to enjoyed my birthday. I had feeling that table was reserved straight after our booking and I had felt that we have to eat as quickly as possible and leave. Don’t get me wrong, that restaurant is good but in my opinion is overrated and expensive.
