Popped in one Thursday afternoon for a quick pint. Nice location on the edge of a grassy field in town with outdoor seating. Only one ale available but the barman was friendly. It appeared to be the haunt of some local characters and the bar echoed with ripe language. Looks nice on the outside, inside is awful with no character and poor decor. We walked in and the staff ignored us for 5 minutes despite a sign saying “wait to be seated”, then when we finally got the barman’s attention he said they don’t serve food (despite Facebook photos to the contrary) so we said we would have a drink, but then when we asked where we could sit the barman just stared.
