I had heard great things about this restaurant and was really looking forward to my meal. I was extremely disappointed, however. I ordered a butter chicken and I was served plain chicken in a bright yellow smooth korma sauce. I have eaten butter chicken at many resturants before but never like this. The staff insisted the dish was authentic, which it may well be, and they were happy to replace it. My replacement was plain chicken again but this time in an unnaturally bright red plain sauce which tasted exactly the same; sweet and coconut flavour. I was finally brought a chicken curry, which was ok but it sorely lacked flavour. I tried my fellow diner's food between waiting for mine and every dish was bland and lacked flavour. Read morewas not expecting much.. and I wasn't disappointed..For what it was it was quite expensive..The children's prices being especially so..We were the only people there which was no surprise.. The selection was poor and limited..each meat dish of which there were two were guilty of false advertising.. The lamb must have bailed from the spinach swill and the chickenless tikka could have doubled as custard it was so sweet..There was not one spicy dish.. Which would have suited the kids had they decided that they would stick to the Nan and rice..This is quite the worse curry I have had...ever..one star for good service they agreed to move us to a larger table when friends arrived..but as mentioned we were the only ones there..To be honest the service would have been better if they had warned us...

Fresh, quality produce, cooked to perfection, and no heavy oils to weigh you down after the meal. The Salmon Tikka was tasty and flaked easily, the mushroom rice was the nicest I've had. The Saag Panir had more garlic than usual, but it made the dish so much nicer, and the Chicken Korma had lovely white chunks of tender chicken in a well balanced sauce that tasted as it should and wasn't too sweet, like some can be. The dessert menu looked varied, but we didn't have the room for it, so maybe next time! If you haven't been, then what are you waiting...
