Fresh Fries — Restaurant in England

Fresh fries emm not really went there with misses yesterday she had the cheese bean and sausage and I just had plain fries mine looked like they had been cooked last week and tasted like it as well the misses said hers were cold and pretty tasteless too it probably would have been better throwing them away and eating the little brown bowl they came in you may well be wondering why I'm up at 1.17 in the morning writing this review that's a really good question the problem is that I've not gone to bed yet because both of us have spent most the night on the toilet I would like to finish by saying the food van is in such a stunning spot you can sit on one of the benches over looking the bay and eat your food but remember the seat you will be sitting on for the next few hours will not have as pretty views you...

Wonderful location overlooking Widemouth & out to sea. The chips are nice - similar to other take-away "food truck" offerings & the owner is cheery & friendly. Only downside is questionable food hygiene. When the lid of a sauce bottle fell in our food as it was being prepared the guy picked it out with his fingers, screwed it back on, licked his fingers & finished off with a wipe from a manky rag sitting on the counter. We drove past Fresh Fries on the way back from a day out , but definitely glad we spotted them and definitely happy we tried them tonight . The chef was very pleasant, under control despite there been a mini rush ! The food was delicious and well worth the money. I would recommend them to everyone who visits Bude and Widemouth bay . We sat and ate them while the Sun went down , perfect food and perfect setting . Back down in September and will definitely go back to try another...
