We were in Cumbria on holiday and visiting family and it was suggested we try the Taj Mahal out. When we we arrived we were met promptly and in a very welcoming manner. The decor is very tasteful. We were seated quickly and asked if we wanted poppadoms which we did and were given the menu. I wasn't sure what to have and asked the server, who turned out to be one of the owners, Rofee and asked for a recommendation. We understand you may be busy, but fobbing us off with lies doesn't help - Food was hot so clearly made after the second call.
We'll keep coming back if the service...
