Golden Star Chinese takeaway — Restaurant in England

If you'd asked me prior to last night what I thought were the best Chinese takeaway's in Bedford, the Golden Star would have been on that list. I've lived in the area most of my life and I have ordered from there many times. Last night, however, was awful. Never have I had a bad meal from there before. The pork balls were chewy. The food was bland. The sweet and sour chicken is the worst sweet and sour of any kind that I have ever eaten, and repeated on me for the rest of the night. The beef was dry, tough and tasteless. But, the meal did come with a free set of resistance bands! No.. Seriously! It came with a free set of exercise resistance bands! I thought maybe they'd been put in there by mistake, but they were inside a ziplock bag, which was inside a small takeaway style carrier bag, and neatly packed in with the rest of the food.

Impressive Chinese Takeaways shop not only with a 5-star rating for food hygiene but also the outstanding food quality and flavour. I ordered their food as just happened to pass by after public business on Friday. It is worth mentioning their unique, exclusive very elaborate primarily in-house developed fusion with seasoning ingredients curry. Succulent, tasty, well fried, freshly cooked sweet and sour Tofu, the secret recipe of salt and pepper Tofu which is great for “eat for fun” especially paired with beers. YUMMY😋! Each dish is seasoned with its own spices and ingredients which come out smelling savoury and appetizing that made the greatest impression on me and the flavours have remarkable depth. The dishes were executed perfectly feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. As the shop is running busy on Friday night, it has taken a while to get to my mouth, but I've found the best Chinese takeaway...

Been eating here for years.... recipes have always been good!... the chefs not so good! All of our rice was crunchy with uncooked grains really disappointing since it is a bit part of our meal... 5.70 for crunchy chicken fried rice fed it to the dog... never ever had uncooked rice like that anywhere but here! Poor is an understatement... ribs are pathetic for the money.... prices always vary when questioned they say they hadn't updated their menu.... customer service is not high on their priorities either.... not the only one to feel like this read all reviews....time to try somewhere new...
