Asked for a beef baguette, the lady didn't ask if I wanted salad on it and wrapped it up before I noticed. I checked the baguette and asked to have salad and sauce on, the man came over quite abrupt and stated they can't touch the baguette because I handled it, although at this point it was still wrapped up.

the lady put salad in a box but when I asked about adding sauce the man came over again stating how they can't touch it, at this point he was quite loud and confrontational. I said I havnt moved from the counter nor touched the baguette so why was such an issue being made out of this.

In the end I declined the sandwich, I already paid for it but the confrontation and rudeness just made me not want to eat from there.

In future:

Don't be rude to someone who is buying your product

Ask the customer what they want in the sandwich, that's the whole point of having salad at the bar.

Don't be confrontational, it will cause confrontation and that isn't something you would want to deal with in your shop as it could quite...

This place use to be top standard I always use to have bacon sausage eggs with melted cheese and it was a nice sandwich. The other day I returned and asked for my usual only to find they just threw it together and they have stopped doing melted cheese it was a poor sandwich and ended up throwing it away . Having melted cheese on it really kicks it off but just having cheese thrown on it you end up having to catch the cheese as it just falls all over the place and my lap was covered in cheese so I wasn't impressed this time . Ain't got a clue why they have stopped melting cheese but I won't be going back until they start melting it again . Other than that they are good sandwich shop and all my previous sandwiches was spot on ... Sorry but I just love...

1st time came today got reccomended actually try this butty place out. I like to give small businesses a try rather then top commercial places. My interpretation i dont think they appreciate your custom . If your a new face , dont bother going . Get looked at like who are you and what do you want type of vibe. If your local you get banter. So yeah not for me , gave it go i suppose. Abit strange with how to pay , before i came i looked it up , obviously due to not knowing how to get there , but said online you could pay with card.
