Greggs — Restaurant in England

Called in on way to the Lakes around 1pm, Monday 13th January 2024. There was a choice of pastry stuff and buns but every pastry was cold. Staff member checked using a bag over his hand and touching them and agreed. No offer to get fresh ones so just bought 2 barely lukewarm sausage rolls. The lad serving was pleasant. The place was dirty and clearly had not been properly cleaned in a long time. Dirty floor and tables. However, the piece de resistance was the state of the toilets. Opening the gents door and the smell was right there. Someone had been sick in the cubicle and a large spread of vomit was across the floor into the urinal area. Some sheets of toilet paper had been laid on top to disguise it apparently. The toilet itself was an utter disgrace with faecal matter everywhere. The urinals had not been cleaned for a long time with urine all over the floor near them. Stopped here to pick up a Too Good To Go bag, arrived 30 mins early to get a cuppa. But it was in darkness, cuppa from Burger King. As we were waiting I couldn't see any staff in Gregg's. After 15 mins I went into shop area to look for someone. Someone from BK came in. Explained that I there for a TGTG bag. They went behind counter and gave me a bag, there was about 8 on counter. My bag had a cheese and ham baguette. Which we ate straight away as it hadn't been stored in the fridge... How long has the TGTG bags been sitting? Plus they could sit another 45 mins before end of TGTG pick...

Too good to go food is a joke, the first time they cancelled it not long before collection and the second time, they made my partner drive all the way back home for my phone even when he had the order number and stayed on the phone so I could scan the app. No other shop has made him do this nor has the other Greg's in town.
