Greggs — Restaurant in England

I pop into this store when I'm short on time making my own lunch, and because I adore the Tomato Soup and the Chicken Bites. I'm also partial to a Peach Melba and Greggs do THE best Peach Melba's by far. All that aside, I wanted to give a shout out to one of the nicest staff members of any store, not just Greggs I've experienced in a long time. That accolade goes to the lovely chap called Macauley, because nothing is too much trouble. He's friendly, efficient and gives customer service with a smile. On Sunday morning, I experienced very poor service at Greggs. I came for a veg sandwich, but it wasn’t available on the shelf. I asked a staff member, who said they were making one and to wait 5 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked the same staff member again, and they claimed they never said they were making it. I didn’t leave; I stood in front of the kiosk the entire time, so I’m confused by their response. I wouldn’t have minded if they’d just said they were too busy to make it I would have left and found another place. If you can’t fulfill a request, please just say so. I would never recommend...

This is the first Teesside Drive Thru Greggs. This is along side a recent Taco Bell Drive Thru and also a Drive Thru Burger King. This is an ideal location for anyone travelling from Middlesbrough to Redcar or Redcar to Middlesbrough. All three locations also allow eating in. It has all of the typical Greggs menu.
