This was my second visit to this particular Taco Bell, and unfortunately, it left me disappointed once again. While my first experience wasn't great, I believe in giving places a second chance because everyone can have an off day. Sadly, this visit didn’t redeem them. To start, the service was incredibly slow. My food took about 20 minutes to arrive, which is far from "fast food." My first visit was even slower, leaving a bad first impression for a takeaway. It's frustrating to think about how much better and quicker service I've experienced at other locations in cities like Sheffield and Newcastle. When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. The chips, usually well-seasoned, were bland this time due to a lack of seasoning. My quesadilla was poorly presented as well—partially cut, leaving me to finish the job at home with a knife. This makes me wonder if they forgot or simply didn’t care to complete it. Like you literally have the knife in your hand? Surely you could've finished the job. Adding to the disappointment is the consistent stinginess of this location. On my first visit, they ran out of caramel sauce for churros and offered me random dips like hot sauce instead—completely unsuitable, like do you expect me to dip my churros in hot sauce? When I asked for a taco as a substitution, they refused, claiming it wasn’t of equivalent value which was baffling since I wasn’t the one at fault. This visit had similar issues. They ran out of proper lids for the cheese dip and served it in a larger container, which felt like an unnecessary shortcut. Why not just give me a large cheese dip instead of this half-measure? The cost difference can't be that significant. On top of that, I paid extra for extra chicken in my quesadilla, but it didn’t feel like I got anything beyond the standard portion—or possibly less. To make matters worse, their drinks were flat, similar to the inconsistent quality you might find at some McDonald’s locations. Compared to other Taco Bells, this was a letdown. Overall, this Taco Bell location has slow service, inconsistent quality, and a stingy approach to their offerings. It's clear why their Google rating is already so low. Taco Bell, you need to get new staff here and ensure service consistency across locations. This place is seriously slacking.

I am an uber eats driver, recently I had the unfortunate experience of visiting Taco Bell in Southbank, and I must say, it was an absolute nightmare. The level of incompetence and disrespect displayed by the staff was truly astounding.

Firstly, let's talk about the wait time. I understand that fast food establishments can get busy, but this was beyond ridiculous. I sat in the restaurant for what felt like an eternity, only to be greeted by a disinterested employee who seemed more interested in chatting with their coworkers than taking my order. It took an excruciatingly long time for them to even acknowledge my presence, let alone make my delivery order. All this whilst I had the customer constantly messaging me, "wheres my ORDER?".

To make matters worse, the staff's attitude towards me and other drivers was absolutely appalling. They seemed to have no respect for our time or our patience. When I finally mustered up the courage to ask about the status of my order, I was met with a dismissive and condescending response. It was clear that they couldn't care less about providing decent customer service.

Overall, my experience at Taco Bell in Southbank was nothing short of a disaster. The excessive wait times, lack of respect, and subpar food left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I would strongly advise anyone considering visiting this establishment to think twice and save themselves the headache. There are plenty of other fast food options in the area that will treat you with the respect and efficiency...

We ordered our food online (4 items) at 19:30, arrived to pick up the food at 19:45 and the staff were all over the place. The poor lass on the front counter looked like she was 1 receipt away from handing in her notice. I asked if our order was ready and they checked in this little oven that they have for online orders that are ready for collection, but she said it wasn't in there. I waited another 45 minutes as they were heaving, and still running around like headless chickens, before asking about my order again; a different woman managed to find our food in the same oven that the first woman failed to find it in. I asked for the food to be made again, as it would now be disgusting from sweating in a paper bag for over 45 minutes, to which the woman said "we called out the order when it was ready", which is no use at all when I was not in the store at the time and was driving to collect my order. The woman obliged and had my order re-made and, granted, the food was nice, but the whole scenario was a joke from start to finish. I asked to speak to a manager and the woman said that the manager was working on making food for other customers so she couldn't speak to me, so I have to ring the store another time. Trust me when I say I will never order from...
