Greggs — Restaurant in England

I drove to Gregg's last Sunday at 10.30am. I asked for 3 bacon baguettes, three coffees and cakes to go. " sorry we don't have any.... it will be 12- 15 mins". Ok, how about sausages? "I only have enough for one baguette, we've been a bit busy"! There were 3 members of staff I could see....and it seems between them they could not replenish supplies in time!! Gawd! It's not rocket science! So I and another customer walked out. I drove to Macdonalds. This is not the first time for me..... but the last time I ever will go to Gregg's...

A great little take-away cafe when in Covid restrictions, but does have a few tables and chairs when not. We normally use the expensive coffee chains ie Starbucks, Costa etc. We were very surprised how good the drinks and food were but the cost was great we had a tall cappucino+ tall latte+3 chocolate cookie + ham and egg salad roll and cost £5.40. Probably about half the price of the previously mentioned yet tasted as good and with polite and professional service from the guys there. Will definitely be going...

The food and drink was good (sausage roll, pepperoni pizza slice and a bottle of coke) unfortunately there wasn't any pizza ready. The lad behind the counter said if I'd like to wait it would be 7 minutes. A young lady instructed him to put them on the bottom and it'll be 6 minutes. I checked back at 8 minutes, no pizza again at 10, no pizza at 15 I went up he said "Can I help you?" I simply said Pizza? He apologised and said "I forgot" 🤷‍♂️ That's what happens wemhen kids are in charge. Tasted...
