Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in England

A nice unit which looks newly built. Second visit here as using a garage nearby and on both occasions there are plenty (5or6 staff) nearly one per customer and it still takes 10 mins to get a drink. The worst run coffee shop I’ve visited in a long time. No one clearing tables so looks unloved. It took a person doing the drive thru orders to even serve me. This time they “have no plates” so food handed out in a bag. Coffee not as hot as it should be luckily as handed over the counter and balanced on a part of the counter surround with a sticker on the handle making it difficult to pick up. Training training training. Staff are nice but inefficient and inexperienced. One gets the cakes and another makes your coffee when they get through the backlog. It’s enough to put you off...

I placed an online order for collection to save time, but it ended up being the opposite. It took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks, despite the estimated wait being just 5–7 minutes. When I arrived, no one acknowledged me at the collection point, and after waiting about five minutes I had to approach the order counter instead. To make matters worse, the drinks weren’t even prepared together.

It was clear that drive-through orders were being prioritised, so in the future I’ll probably use that instead. The staff member who eventually prepared our drinks did apologise, which helped redeem the situation, but considering it wasn’t busy and there were five staff members present, it seems reasonable that at least two should have been...

DO NOT TRUST THE OPENING TIMES ON WEBSITE Normally I have very pleasant visit, but unfortunately last night my friend and I arrived at 5.30 pm to find a notice on the door advising the cafe closed at 3pm, with my mask on I opened the unlocked door, to be greeted by 'we are closed you can't come in' yelled at me, I said I was just checking as website shows 8pm, apparently they cannot change the website??? I then asked if I could please go around and get a coffee at the drive through to be told no as I didn't have a car.
