A well run pub by a eager landlord wanting to do good, the establishment is old charm with a mixture of tables and seating , because of its age the original windows do not throw much natural light inside during the winter months but its not such an issue. The beer is good and kept well the food is excellent and nourishing and offers a varied main menu and lunch menu at reasonable prices. Three rooms are open plan (in line) with the bar central to them one of these set out restaurant style, a decent size pool room with darts board , a narrow sized room acts as a family room . The toilets (men's) were clean , bright and spotless there is a small outside seating area and a car park along with on road parking. Would recommend this...

Booked a table for our evening meal. On return later, pub was buzzing, again staff lovely. The food was excellent, chef takes time and care, so if you are in a hurry it's not for you. Great selection of different dishes, which change regularly. We had the pie with all the trimmings, meat melted in the mouth. Only one choice of pudding, but it was amazing vanilla cheesecake with white chocolate and fresh strawberrys. If you are in the area its...
