Jenners Riverside Cafe — Restaurant in England

Wish I could give them a half star. We ate there twice in a fortnight thinking we just got them on a bad day. Second time was not a charm unfortunately. Been to America, Scotland, New Zealand, All over Australia and this dirty shop would easily be remembered for being the worst, in food, cleanliness, price and service. Took our mum for lunch the second time and we regretted it as soon as I started ordering. The food is less than basic, chicken burger consisted of unbuttered bun, the parts of the lettuce everyone throws in the bin and an over cooked punched out crumbed chicken. That’s it! £6 something!!! Rude young staff, over priced food, dreadful breakfasts and not worth the bother. All the other reviewers who think this place is fantastic obviously haven’t eaten...

I was planning to give Jenners Cafe a good review but after hearing the owner using the F word because I had ordered 2 portions of chips and not a full breakfast was disgusting. Confronting the owner (who was the cook) made no attempt to apologise and continued to argue with me. I was blunt in stating to her that I was wanting to write a review about the cafe but under the consideration of how I was treated it would not be a good one. I personally was very shocked and also noticed the staff was also. Also I wouldn't class 2 portions of chips and 2 mugs of tea at £9.80 a nice cheap snack out. I definitely out of principle would not return there. Its a shame because its a nice place with a children's play area but the CUSTOMER SERVICE...

3 of us went for a breakfast today and ordered at 12:20 and didnt get it till 1:15 and the girl behind the counter taking orders is very rude and not very sympathetic with having not much food available from the menu for choices as they was "running out of bacon" and all i asked for was a full monty, the girl rudely said no we dont do them today with no explanation. The girls are stood behind the counters talking about other customers and this is such bad service and bad reputation. Was disappointed in the food as the flavour was so bland and didnt enjoy it as we all went pass being hungry too. That girl behind the counter is rude, has no customer service skills and no manners at all. I wont be...
