KFC Dorchester - Weymouth Avenue — Restaurant in England

Popped in as starving after a long country walk around the Abbotsbury area. First impression was the restaurant was clean and tidy with a nice play list in the background. We don't often go to fast food establishments and dislike ordering on the self service especialy as we had a Blue Light Card and didn't know how that would process on the self service. We waited at the counter for a few minutes and felt a little ignored but the staff were busy. A "be with you in a minute" would have been good however the young man when he came over was very helpful and person centered when he did serve us. Took a little while for food. My husband had enough time to go to tesco and get a bottle of real sugar coke and return and I was still waiting. Its rather disappointing that KFC have stopped real sugar coke as many people like my husband are sensitive to artifical sweeteners. However when the food arrived it was tasty and hot. Toilets were clean. I wasn't sure whether to laugh or call the police when I saw the staff only toilet had "cooks only" on the door. Is that a nod to "Breaking Bad" I...

A new review a bit different to 3 years ago when I left my first review, 12.30 wasn't busy not even drive thru, I could see 4 staff 3 chatting 1 at drive thru window walked up to the till after 2 of the machines to do order failed on me, waited at the till for 11 miuntes before someone came to serve me not good, went to find a table 3 tables where filthy as where the floor, My food was ready quick and did taste nice, As I'm still sat here typing this 20 minutes on tables still filthy not see member of staff out on floor. Maybe a one off maybe lazy staff on today but I believe the front of house needs to be kept tidy and clean however busy or not busy..

Very disappointing! Never stopped here before and won't be again. The restaurant was dirty, the counter and what could be seen of the kitchen was chaotic, with supplies scattered around all over the place. I think maybe they were short staffed, well that's what I put it down to, as there were lots of customers and just eat drivers standing around for long periods of time waiting, either to have their order taken or waiting to collect food. Once we had our order, although hot, the chicken was very greasy and the chicken skin soggy because of it. The toilets were dirty and smelly, you could see scum around the taps, sinks and the plug holes, where they needed...
