Not sure where to start - I think disappointed & frustrated would sum up all my experiences.
This is the nearest kfc, so we use it occasionally, if food quality & service was better, we would definitely use it more often.
we ordered a portion of 8 hot wings with a bucket through drive thru, got home, only 2 hot wings in the little paper bags... why 2?? We rang & took longer than 30 mins to get through to speak with a manager, no apology, and told us to go back to get the wings, we said no point, was offered to have it next time, but not giving us any name, code or anything to ask for the wings next time!!!!!!!!!
** ordered a bucket meal with a pot of gravy & baked beans, burger meal... through drive thru, got home, noticed gravy was all over car carpet & food, of course!!!! We had to bring a trap from home to get food in & cleaned up afterwards!!!!! Rang to complaint but no answer after many attempts!!!!
** ordered a bucket meal, chicken pieces, chips were all oily & not hot, and extremely salty!!!
** I could carry on for another 10 more examples but I think it’s quite clear that we have never had a decent meal there... hence only have food there twice or three times a year!!
The staff were friendly as they took our order, but they seem to have a new electronic system, which didn't seem to be working so well. So they had about 5-10 orders on the go at once.
Our drinks were instantly poured and sat on the side warming up, which, with a Krushem, isn't the best.
We were stood waiting for at least 5-10 minutes, maybe more. Could see they had started to get our meal together but they stop working on it and started doing other orders. So our meal sat on the side for maybe 5-10 more minutes as they were serving numerous other orders (perhaps 10). All this time they hadn't bothered to explain to us why we were waiting so long. They'd also taken our order off of the screen to show they were working on it, and it wasn't on the collection screen either.
At this point our order had been sat in the heated area for so long that they threw the fries away and replaced them with new ones - what good is a heater if it doesn't keep the heat in?
Eventually we got bored of waiting and asked for a refund to which the server told us numerous times "we're waiting for the Zinger stack to be cooked". So we waited. Moments later it was pushed through and the burger was put on our tray.
Now comes the eating side of the meal. The chicken, which had now been on the tray for maybe 20+ minutes was warm, not too bad. Still tastes like KFC chicken. The beans were warm, not nuclear like normal, but warm. The fries... The fries were lukewarm, barely any heat in them. And these were the new ones which replaced the original ones!

Read moreYesterday was the worst day ever. I went to the KFC Narbrough RD Leicester branch and ordered 2 meals. One of the meals I dropped it of to my sister and then I went home to have mine. As soon as I started eating I found my food was very undercooked. As frustrating as it was I contacted the branch and told them about the situation. I arrived there about ten minutes later and spoke to one of the staff and told her what happened I even took the sandwich with me to show how serious it was. She called the manger and I never met more colder person than this. One she didn’t apologise, two she didn’t offer to replace the order for me, I had to tell her that!!! I swear I never ever saw a supposedly MANGER handling a situation like this before which was very unprofessional. For the rest of the night me and my sister suffered the worst stomach pain. More for my sister as she was already I’ll we still can’t sleep. I was going to write this complaint in the morning just because of the frustration and pain I decided to write it now.
