Great independent little coffee shop in Driffield serving really good coffee and cakes. There’s not much room inside so think solo coffee drinkers (me) or couples, rather than a big group. Coffee and hot chocolate are available for takeaway and as Kinship is pretty close to the station it would be a great place to pick up a coffee for your train journey. Kinship also sells a range of coffee beans to take home if you want to create your own coffeehouse experience at home.

Aussie quality coffee with the friendly Yorkshire hospitality. Come for a brew, stay for a chat. The owner Tom has great house and guest beans, delicious treats and provides such a vibe for all seasons. If you’re in Driffield or on the way to the Yorkshire coast - make a detour to this part of town, it’s worth it and you’ll walk out with a new friend (and fav coffee place)!

This is a great little independent coffee shop, not much space inside but take away is always an option. Great cakes and bakes available, the coffee is great and you can buy the beans to take home with you as well. It’s not in the main hub of town, but it’s definitely worth the walk! Totally recommend a visit!

Kinship Coffee is an incredible addition to Driffield. What sets it apart is truly incredible coffee! I went in for a Flat White and a cake, and boy I'm glad I did! The Flat White was great; one thing Driffield has lacked is a place to get a nice strong coffee! The lemon, polenta and pistachio cake was delicious, moist and not overpowering. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed to enjoy other coffees too! Secondly, I had a Cappuccino. It was really creamy and smooth, a softer taste than the flat white, but equally delicious! Next, I sampled some of the Donkey Sanctuary Filter coffee, which was as far in flavour from the flat white as Sydney from London! This filter coffee is light, fruity, with a mild citrus note. It was different to every coffee I've ever had before, and it was heavenly! After this, I was a little coffeed out, so I opted to try the camomile iced tea. I'm not a tea drinker, and did not enjoy camomile tea in the past, but as an iced tea, I really enjoyed it! that distinctive camomile taste seemed somewhat diffused in iced tea form and I found it super refreshing! We will definitely be back soon to sample more of the coffees, the relaxed and unpretentious vibes, and Tom, the...

Been twice recently and whilst the coffee is very nice and food good, I have to echo what others have said about the service. The owner (?) seriously needs to work on his customer service skills. Really unfriendly. Fair enough if he’s shy but I tried making conversation and got nowhere. Went in with my daughter today and she said the vibe was well weird and she felt uncomfortable when I asked if she could use the toilet. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, particularly for an independent venue, and I hope you can take this as constructive criticism. Maybe just ā€œfake it till you make itā€ and make the place a bit more inviting...
