The Butchers Dog is a 'micro' pub in Driffield although - since moving to new premises - it has the feel of a traditional pub. The focus here is on Real Ale and although they rarely have anything groundbreaking or exciting on they serve a good selection of styles with warm, friendly service.
They do food sporadically and if they're not serving they're happy for you to bring your own food in. The location is well-served by a decent bakery.

I was pleasantly surprised when I had a very pleasant welcome from the bar lady and several regulars.
