LA ROTONDA PIZZERIA — Restaurant in England

We live very close to this pizzeria so had to try it out! We went in on a Sunday evening with our 18-month old daughter and were just blown away by the effortless, overly kind service we got from the front of house. The pizza maker (if that is their official job title!) kept on playing peek-a-boo and throwing the pizza dough high up in the air just to entertain her. We felt very well taken care of and had a seriously nice time. And this was all before the ice-cold Moretti on tap or mouth-watering pizzas came out. My kid devoured her mini pizza (which they gave us on the house) almost as fast we did ours. This would be a delightful place to have a big family dinner or special event with friends/adults. Was an absolute pleasure coming here, honestly the best pizza I've ever had, such a great variety of pizza and pasta and such great service, I couldn't have asked for more, we were treated more like friends than customers which in my book goes a long way. You can either sit inside or outside which is covered, parking can be an issue but there is plenty of street park nearby, and the overall experience was excellent, if I could rate this 10 stars I would, so if your nearby call in you won't be disappointed and we will certainly be going back here. Wonderful food. Extremely friendly. Definitely go! Would've been 5 but half a topping was missing. We ordered half Tonnata and half Capricciosa. I'd asked to substitute the salame for prosciutto, which the lady on the phone said was fine, but it came without either.

Having said that, the pizza itself was lovely. The crust was cooked very well, and the flavour was delicious. The delivery man was very friendly, too. In honesty, it wasn't a big deal after as the quality was great regardless :)
