I placed an order for delivery on the ‘quarantine menu’ for two, this was placed around 7.15pm when i rang to order the member of staff said it would be be getting delivered for 8pm, which I thought would be too soon so it eventually came for 8.45. When we received the order we opened it and the food was stone cold which we had to wait to reheat it up, we also ordered a bottle of red wine which never came. I rang back up to ask if they could please send one as soon as possible so we could have it with our food, she said that’s not a problem I can sort that. We then had a phone call 5 minutes later asking if the wine was paid for, which was all paid on card over the phone before hand. We then waited for our wine to come and it got to 9.50 so I’d ring to see if it’s coming still as it would have been closing for 10pm. There was no answer and still didn’t get our wine. I had rang the next day spoke to the manager Brent who apologised and said I can refund you the full bill straight away, it’s now 4 days later and still no refund. I can’t believe the poor service we have had it’s very disappointing after we had been on a number of occasions to...
Read moreI was in last Saturday for bottomless brunch for my mam's 50th birthday, I paid for myself and her and we were with a table of 10 all together. I'm very disappointed and honestly feel like I've been robbed blind. I waited 45 mins for my first drink despite ordering it 3 times. I ended up only having two cocktails and a glass of prosecco and my mam only had 3 glasses of prosecco. I can't understand how you can have a room that full and only have one person working the bar making drinks. It certainly wasn't worth £80 and in comparison to other bottomless brunches, this one was the worst I've been to for organisation and attentiveness, it seemed poorly organised and definitely wasn't worth the £80 that I paid. I contacted La Torre on Facebook and they responded by asking where I was sat and since then I have been ignored. People on our table were holding their glasses in the air for drinks and we were being completely blanked and walked past to serve other tables. They say that you can order another drink when your current one is half empty, I'd say good luck with that. I'd save your money and go elsewhere for...
Read moreOverated. I went with 2 friends for bottomless brunch on Saturday afternoon, and we were seated on a table for 2. We wouldn't have been able to fit our food on never mind any drinks. I asked to be moved to a larger table and the waiter didn't seem to happy about it even though I had booked 5 weeks in advance and there were plenty of empty tables. The food was nothing special at all and the drinks were atrocious, especially the cocktails. My friend had a blood orange gin and tonic served in a large cheap glass with a bit of shrivelled passionfruit in it!! despite us repeatedly asking for smaller glasses with less ice and a proper gin glass. The toilets were a mess with the floors strewn in empty toilet rolls and the handrail up the stairs was a sticky dirty germ harbouring mess. At £40 per person it is not something I would recommend to anyone. I certainly won't...
