A great all round experience in a very pristine environment. Lovely tables and individual style interior. Be aware the front signage is missing briefly and for new customers you’ll need to look for a pure white shopfront. The large full English was good but on reflection the sausages would benefit in being a grade up like a butchers sausage, the hash browns needed deep frying to get them proper crispy, the kitchen doesn’t have a deep fryer the lady mentioned, and the black pudding was slightly undercooked. It was still a good plate but I wanted to mention a couple of observations to make it excellent in my opinion. Overall a super cafe, the cakes looked amazing, fresh and full and the family run atmosphere and attention to detail was plain to see. I actually thought it was an only a few weeks old due to how immaculate the place was and was surprised to hear it was 3 years old. Nice to meet you and I will return. Thanks to all.

Best Cafe I have ever been to. I have been eating here almost everyday for a month since working in the local area. Affordable prices, amazing food with extensive menu with all sorts such as paninis, sandwiches, wraps, full English, soups, cakes, milkshakes, pancakes and more. Fantastic staff with great service, highly recommend. Chicken pesto, mozzarella with sweet chillin sauce. My favourite. (When I took my first bite, I immediately asked for the same one the following day. Which started a 4 week long daily occurance) I pre order my food ready for my lunch break at 1 oclock and it’s always ready for when I sit down. Very greatful for the service and staff they are great!

heard good things about Larkrise Cafe so thought would try but was disappointed with the end result. £12 for a new york deli sandwich which has 1 slice of pastrami in, should gave gone tescos next door for a meal deal and got more pastrami in the sandwich.

I came to eat here on my lunch break for which I get an hour. I thought it'd be nice as I live nearby and gets me out the house as I work from home.

I wanted to order something that In my mind would be relatively quick so got the New Yorker sandwich. Taste wise it was absolutely lovely, really cannot fault the food. But I was left really disappointed that it took an hour for my new Yorker sandwich and my partners chicken wrap to come out!!!! I can appreciate that they're looking for staff, however I counted 5+ people in the kitchen area and only three tables seated.

For a relatively small menu and not particularly rushed off their feet, I ended up having to leave at the 50 minute mark of waiting. My partner had to get the food to go as it took almost an hour to come out. Now I would say that this is a one off, but this was my second time dining there, the first time I was in a very similar situation waiting 40 minutes for a coffee and a sandwich.

It's a real shame as both occasions the food was lovely and the atmosphere of the place itself is lovely, the timing of the service just let it down for me. The owner did recommend pre ordering in future, which I appreciate but don't necessarily expect...
