LEON Sedgemoor — Restaurant in England

I ordered a chicken burger, two firecracker chicken bowls and a sweet chilli chicken rice box. The lack of being able to remove the mayonnaise on the chicken burger was disappointing. Wait time was long, and when I went to the side the get cutlery, my name was called out again because they nearly forgot my burger. I opened the bag in the car and realised not only was I given the complete wrong rice box, the firecracker bowls were mediocre at best. There was probably a 5:1 ratio of onion pieces to chicken!

Never ordered from or heard about Leon fast food eatery before but decided to try them as queue at the neighbouring McDonald's was stupidly long.

Choice of burgers was just chicken or vegan, however, good choice of other dishes such as wraps and chicken pieces. Cost is slightly more money than McDonald's, however, ingredients are mainly organic and actually the overall quality was much better than it's cheaper competitor.

Both the chicken and vegan burger were very tasty with a really good burger sauce (think Big Mac sauce but better, with a slight bite to it!) and fresh salad. Chicken pieces were unprocessed chicken. The waffle fries were really good.

We normally love Leon but felt let down by Sedgemoor Leon. We picked a drink on the touch screen menu, and paid extra for large. When we collected the food, the staff gave us a canned version of the drink, which was much smaller than the large takeaway cup. When we asked the staff, they were polite but didn’t care. We asked if they could disable the option for future customers but were dismissed.

The food was lovely, and the service wasn’t rude, but we left feeling deflated. Appreciate this is beyond staff control but doesn’t make us want to eat at Leon again, which is a shame. We then went to McDonald’s and had a similar issue with food but the staff there were...
