Lucky House — Restaurant in England

I asked locals which was the better chinese in the village. If you really love a good chinese then order elsewhere. Meal for 2 was over £30 and for that I expected it to be bang on. The satay chicken and beef in black bean was sloppy goo. I dont think it had been anywhere near a wok, just assembled in a takeaway box. Rice was fine. Not much flavour going on in the dishes we ordered. Ribs were wet and covered in more sloppy gravy. Probably the worst ive had and certainly the worst value for money....

Have they changed the chef ?? Always had a takeaway from Lucky house and was always very good but yesterday was awful , chips were very overcooked and needed a sauce, the main meal (which should have had a kick) was bland and the portions appear smaller . It was the same 3 months ago ( the last time I had a takeaway) . Come on lucky house you were always a good takeaway with good staff...

I made telepohone order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes! I don't know how you can prepare and cook a Chinese meal in 10 minutes. Unless its microwaved? Yes mine was. It was awful. Chicken s&s Hong Kong was very chewy, rice sticky and prawns in chow mein were tasteless and sauce very salty. Chips were just warm. Waste of money as...
