Clean and a nice selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastry's. Staff helpful and friendly. We had sausage rolls, cheese salad sandwich, corned beef salad sandwich and ham salad sandwich. We Enjoyed the sausage rolls. The sandwiches had a good amount of fresh fillings, however they are large and we found them really hard work. With the lack of a condiment it's quite dry and the bread is rather chewy. We tried the sandwiches again but this time put our own Hellman's mayonnaise in them and still it was hard to eat. It would be nice if you could choose a bread type for your sandwich and it would be so much nicer and less messy if the cheese was sliced rather than grated. That's just our personal preference. This place has a great selection of sandwiches and cakes, sometimes too many to choose from. I was massively disappointed when I asked for a ham and cheese salad, they gave it to me in a roll which I didn’t ask for. When I highlighted the mistake they simply emptied the contents of the roll into a box. There are before and after pictures. Just look at the sorry state of that salad, and it cost £4.30! Love a treat from here on occasion. Great value and lovely staff (although unsurprisingly always busy looking after customers). Pretty sure everything is baked on-site, the sandwiches are always lovely and cakes/sweets dangerously good! Yet to try the pasties as I always go for a sandwich, but they look amazing.
