I started breakfast with a delightful "Sorry, we ran out of chutney", followed by the ever-popular "Sorry, we are short-staffed" special. Read moreWe visited on a Thursday late evening and I think it must have been one of the busy days for the restaurant. The sambar vada was said to be prepared in haste as the vada hadn't soaked well in the sambar, and it didn't taste that well. The chicken fry must have been done alongside fish or must have been extremely tender chicken. The meat felt like fish rather than chicken. The mutton chukka was extremely salty. Even the staff member attending to us could clearly see that our child hardly ate, but no exception was made. Additionally, I found the plates to be quite heavy with sharp edges, making them difficult to handle, especially when dining with a young child.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this experience to friends or families with young children. Many reputable restaurants only begin charging from age 5 and up, and charging over half the adult price for a 2-year-old is, in my opinion, unreasonable and not...
