Treats Oriental Take Away — Restaurant in England

This place is amazing, we’ve been ordering for years and always been tasty and huge portions. I really don’t understand the bad reviews. We pay £4.95 delivery because of where we live and it’s also much more expensive than our local Chinese but the difference is quality is huge and I would rather pay more for decent quality and quantity. Honestly don’t believe the bad reviews, give it a try yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Today we’ve had crispy chilli beef which is out of this world, a vegetable chow mein which is full of veggies and flavour, bbq ribs in bbq sauce is outstanding, beef chow mein is full of beef and again sweet and sour chicken balls are cooked to perfection and all 3 sauces are lovely. Right consistency and flavourful. We had a barbecue, sweet and sour and a curry sauce! We are regular customers and will continue to be regular! And to add, the delivery drivers are...

I rarely leave reviews however I was so disappointed with the meal we received I feel compelled. The food was so vinigary it was bordering on inedible. The biggest disappointment is the fact that you can see how the restaurant is cutting costs by providing as little meat as possible in every dish. Ribs were essentially bones to gnaw on and the special fried rice contained a few strands of dry chicken and a few measly prawns. Didn't even bother with the sliced meat on top nevermind through the dish. Crispy beef was mainly sauce and just tasted of vinegar.

A takeaway is supposed to be a treat so it sucks when you feel like you're being ripped off. You would do far better by providing a good quality product and getting repeat business rather than ripping off the customers who decide to eat...

Never had a bad takeaway from here, its our go to Chinese takeaway. Usually we ordered the Hong-Kong sweet and sour chicken, teriyaki chicken, egg fried rice and mini vegetable spring rolls. Portions sizes are good and don't mind paying more for good food, other Chinese takeaways in the area always seem to have overcooked, hard to chew chicken, and minimal veg but this place is the opposite. Not sure why there's so many bad reviews as we have always had good quality food, hot and delivered super quickly, never anything missing (via ubereats), and this has been the case for 2 years now....
