Beyond Five Star this should be a destination! Over the years when visiting my dear Cousin Joy in Pewsey I have made a point of popping in to this wonderful bakery. Bacon roll bursting with at least four layers of tasty hot bacon, a very jammy doughnut & an Eccles cake for just over FIVE pounds in London this combo would knock you back for at least £8! The range on offer ticks every box of quality and choice. If you want a trip down memory Lane there are long forgotten delights on offer yes I must try the Lardy cake next time! Bread selection to die for and lovely welcoming staff. If you have never been to Marshalls get on down!

Located on the main road through Pewsey (right-hand side) just before the left hand turn to Malborough. Not too far from the station to get a quick purchase. The first time in the shop and the selection of bakes goods is unreal. There are drinks and warm drinks as well. The team is friendly and welcoming. The Meatball Lattace was AMAZING !! Coffee was good also. New to the area and don't travel by train too often, might change that to make this a regular visit. Thanks to the team at the bakery. I will be back soon.

We went here after hearing a recommendation from a local person and their advice to sample a lardi cake. We ended up buying quite a few items as they looked sublime. However, when we sat down to eat our goodies sometime later we were hugely disappointed. Clearly what passes down here in this country for a good bakery is not what we expected. The lardi cake was horrific, all four of us found it awful and it went in the bin. Pretty much everything else lacked flavour and felt like it was 5 days old. Avoid.

Brilliant bakery A* / 10/10

There bloomer rolls are THE best. Great for sandwiches or baps. They also do have there own selection of sandwiches in the shop. Also Brilliant 👏

Their brownies are also amazing. They are not really like your standard brownie. More cake like. Howver they can call them whatever they like they are that good! Slightly crispy and chewwy outer. Super soft. Think center and a delious chocolate ganash on top finished with chocolate chips.

You will not be disappointed. You can pre order a whole tray if you like@

As with other bits from the shop. You can pre order in larger quanjtys. Very accommodating.

Can't...

This bakery used to be excellent, but has gone right downhill. The breakfast pasty consists of salt, beans and sausages (out of a cheap tin), and salt. And a bit more salt. Not an egg, tomato or slice of bacon in sight. Inedible. £2.80 wasted, although the dog dit eat it, she had to have a big drink afterwards to get rid of the taste of salt. I've tried their filled rolls as well and they are very disappointing now - gristly beef and not much salad. So different to 10-12 years ago, when their pasties, rolls and especially their special lardy cakes...
