Booked table for 2pm on Sunday, took over 30 minutes for food order to be taken and over 1 hour to be served starters, mine had to go back as stone cold in the middle pleased it was not meat. Calamari very bland tasting apparentlygarlic sauce helped with the flavour. Garlic bread starter with cheese very greasy(to much cheese, only asked for a sprinkling of cheese). Then waited another 1 hr for mains by this time our 3 year old grandchild was restlessness and getting tired. Ordered chicken parmo and lasagne. Parmo was OK at best far to much cheese to make it look thick because chicken had been flattened to next to nothing. Most of my parmo left couldn't eat it way to greasy from the cheese. Lasagne was thick, had plenty of meat unfortunately didn't taste that nice very bland and too much cheese again (it was good size portion) came with 2 pieces of garlic bread. Really disappointed, manager stated they had party in, however if we where told when first went it thete was more than 1 hr delay with food we would have gone elsewhere. Positive note homemade chips where tasty. Unfortunately we were not told about the party or you were running late. The discount was given on 5 glasses of pop and my bank statement shows it was nearly 5pm when we left. We paid £60 for greasy mediocre...

It's a friendly place, the happy hour menu is ok. Starters were lovely, though the bruschetta could've done with a bit if mozzarella or feta, was all tomatoes pickled in balsamic vinegar. To my taste, not everyone's. The arrabiata pasta was congealed and dull work no not a single Olive, just red sauce. The salmon was in this thick crust of quite tart red piquant spices served with a pretty unimaginative salad over powered by thick raw sliced onions and boiled veg cauliflower, carrots broccoli and quite hard boiled small potato cubes that didn't really go, the alternative was chips which I must admit looked lovely and which I should've got. The dessert I ordered was a kinder bueno cheese cake that would have been nicer if they'd put the broken up bueno pieces on to order, but they'd gone completely soft absorbing all of the moisture on what was a very large tasteless slab of beige calories and was hard to eat. There was only one waiter when we were there, meaning service was agonisingly slow, took us ages to get a drink. It's a good job the paid parking local to the restaurant was suspended otherwise we'd have had to have been out topping the meter up. In truth I was a bit disappointed as it's been good when I've gone before. I think they've lost...

Waitresses were lovely, however the service ie staters and main meal timing were shocking! Half an hour before starters were taken! Again waitresses were great. My starter was reheated! Main meal took ages to come. Pizza was raw and had to be sent back. Cannelloni was dry! Again waitresses were great. No running hot water in the ladies toilets either! Again waitresses were great. Complained at the point of paying after giving up on eating 2 of our 3 main meals due to the lack of acceptable standard of the food! Told by the lady at the till one of our party being diabetic - and having to wait for our meal was not their problem’! All that after nearly 1.30 hours for main meal to come. They did reduce the cost by 20% but told us that we had swore at their waitresses three times ( absolutely not as that is not our m.o). I was told by the woman sat at the till that if I wrote a review they would delete it and she would continue to do so. No accountability from those running the restaurant! Very disappointed and will not revisit. Again waitresses were very polite throughout, not their fault. We were offered a 20% reduction off the bill and no more ( pizza cost was removed due to being under cooked). Very sad...

Wonderful decor friendly attentive staff. Despite not booking up in advance, we juat turned up on the doorstep on spec. Menu is extensive and lots of options and the food is very good value for money. My youngest got garlic chicken pizza off the grown-up menu and did very well. She loved it. My eldest daughter and I had a dessert. I normally go for Tiramisu at an Italian, but when I was told what the cheesecake of the day was, I wanted to try it. It was a light buttery base and 100%. I love going places and trying to leave review with photos to help people decide where to go when they are staying in the area. This is a Jewel in Seaton Carews crown. Highly recommended. We will try to come back again. we don't drive, but we only live in Bowburn Durham, so if we are here with family, it will spread the word.

For a Italian restaurant this place packs a punch. Fantastic food, full of flavour and so tasty and at a price that is such good value. Lovely staff where nothing was too much. A nice view from ground floor and even better one from upstairs. If you are in the area, this place is a must go. Beats Ask and other generic chains for both value and quality. Outstanding. Really nice, well done guys.

Called at 5pm and got a reservation for 7pm as a little date night! Great atmosphere, the members of staff we spoke to were lovely. Cocktails were phenomenal and the food was just the cherry on top. I had the risotto and my partner had the carbonara with potato skins to share and triple cooked chips, genuinely one of the best meals we've had! Will definitely be back❤️
