I am extremely unhappy with the experience I've just had at this MacDonalds branch. I placed a dine in order at 15:27 ticket 003. The wait time was far beyond acceptable at approaching near on 30 minutes for my order to be prepared. I ordered popular items so I don't see how this was a problem. During my wait time an assumed member of staff (unsure as not wearing uniform) dressed like a chav kept going behind the counter shouting to his friend "where my order, make me a chicken wrap now!" This was highly unprofessional and as somebody that works in the industry this needs to be addressed as it creates the wrong atmosphere. I observed one member of staff stand there doing quite literally nothing for 20 minutes waiting for other staff. If your team are struggling help. This being said almost none of the staff showed any sense of urgency.
Not one customer received an apology for the absurd wait times and/or the idiot going behind the counter in no uniform making a scene.
The general manager was not present and when they did appear seemed to have no control over the situation. There were two members of staff who seemed to care, one of which was disabled but still very able to provide a better attitude and work ethic than the rest. The other was a younger female member of staff trying to get some sort of organisation, presumably a team leader.
This store is an absolute shambles and very very damaging to the MacDonalds image.
Upon finally receiving my order after observing for somewhere in-between 25-30minutes. The cheeseburger was way over salted and only just still warm, the same can be said for the grand big Mac.
The order total came to £13.27 for barely warm, awful product after an extremely long wait.

Read moreSlightly disappointed, I ordered my food after scanning my points at the self serve kiosk, came relatively quickly which was great. However, while I was waiting for my food, I decided to order a mcflurry, but I only had cash on me, so I did what I needed to do at the kiosk up to the point were I had to pay, I selected pay at the till, while waiting for a good few minutes, my food came, but no one had been to the till.
I asked the staff member who'd handed me my food if I could pay for this second order I made, he told me he'd get someone over. A staff member then came to the till, but even though I was at the front and had asked for someone to come, the member of staff looked over me and served the guy behind me, which was rude I think, the guy had pushed in and yet was been seen too before me. I had to wait for around 5 minutes while the member of staff and this other customer talked about milkshakes being off the menu and sorting his order.
My foods going cold while all this is happening and I'm awkwardly stood there waiting to be served. Then when the other customer was finally sorted, I was finally able to pay for my order. With me ordering a mcflurry it came within 20 seconds of me paying, but the 5 minutes before were I'm waiting unnecessary wasn't a great experience. Normally when I go here it’s always busy, which is good for business but not so good when you’re waiting over 30 minutes for a one person order or a big order. Today my experience was far worse than normal. The drive through was extremely busy, queuing into the rows where you park. Inside was packed so I thought it may be quicker to do the click & serve. I was wrong. Waited 30 minutes for my food, drive through was actually moving quicker!! I was going to leave it 5 more minutes before I went in and asked for my money back but then eventually my food came & was handed to me, so I wrapped the bag so that my food would stay warm, drove home (a 5 min drive) started to eat my food and guess what, it was stone cold! Not the first time this has happened either! This restaurant has gone so down hill since closing for COVID. Long waits for food (so much for FAST food), milkshake / McFlurry machine always ‘out of order’, restaurant being closed but drive through open due to them being short staffed.
