Costa Coffee Drive Thru — Restaurant in England

Called today 2nd May 2023 at 5.55pm for a toastie , drink and cake Only to be told at the counter Sorry we will be closing at 6pm When we said your opening times on the door says 7pm She said these are the new times and we haven’t had chance to change the door signs

All I can say is Don’t bother trying to spend your money at the new cost coffee house in barracks retail outlet Most of shops are open till 9pm but Costa don’t want your business They are now shutting earlier They must be making that much money out off us that they can afford to close doors early Shall not be wasting our time and our money on...

It is a lovely new cafe but the opening hours are nowhere near to the one on the door. We arrived at 5.40pm on Saturday to grab a hot chocolate and mince pie with my 6y old daughter before a concert. They were closing down and told us that they can only serve take away in spite of the fact that the opening time is until 7pm. You can imagine how my daughter was disappointed having to have a drink anda biscuit in the car.

Went through the drive through and as we was waiting to pay we saw a large Costa cup on the side not knowing it was the tip jar It had 1p in it Anyways picked it up because was looking at the weight as was wanting to purchase a cup to then be asked if we took any tips!!!!! We were PAYING customers why would we take the tips??? Rude little girl that just came out of nappies by the looks of it looked like she needed a slap. Won’t be coming here again Coffees...
