McDonald's — Restaurant in England

We have yet to have a meal that is served hot in this restaurant, we do not visit often but give it a try now and again expecting an improvement. This evening, as we entered there was a group of lads mopping the floor, for fun, making it wet, staff just ignored this. Afterwards they stood outside the door, in a group vaping talking extremely loud swearing frequently. We placed our order by the app, it took a long time to arrive, but when it did it was cold. I returned the order, I was promptly given an order in a bag, when we opened it, it wasn't correct, by this point we had had enough. As we ate our food, I saw 2 staff go out with an order that 1 could carry, what surprised me was that they were sharing a vape as they did this, whilst I have no objection to people vaping/smoking I don't think they should do this as they handle food. They did this on two occasions, they were also handing food out in store, and clearly had not had time to wash their hands I asked if it was acceptable that they were vaping as they handled food, he said they are allowed vape breaks and he was not aware of this. As staff wear name badges, they should be more aware of their actions. I phoned the store later, I had to redial about 8 times before it was answered. The person answering claimed to be the manager, if he was he clearly had an immature attitude. I explained my dissatisfaction at the service, and my observations, I said that I felt it best to speak to him rather than make a post, his immature attitude was 'okie dokie' With this attitude I expect no action will be addressed in stone, so I have chosen to write the post. This lunchtime I wanted to order through drive through and when I got there yet again their milkshake and ice cream machine was broken .I ordered a burger and nuggets and the guy said anything else so I said I wanted dips to which he just said OK. I asked I he wanted to know what dip I wanted and he said he assumed I meant a random section. When I asked for sweet curry they had none of those either . I asked to supplement the sweet curry with sour cream which he told me was an extra 20p so I asked could I not have one instead of 2 or 3 of the sweet curry they didn't have. He said no so I asked him to ask the manager! Jenny who was the manager on duty came on and said no you need to pay . So for the sake of 20 p they lost my order I cancelled because Jenny was rude about it . When I drive round I asked what was Jenny surname as I was going to complain and the guy didn't know so he went and got her and I asked again for the sake of 20p are you prepared to lose the complete order which came to nearly ten quid. She said she wasn't gonna give me the sour cream and if I wanted to complain I could. I've tried to like this macdonalds in Chippenham but before today I had cold chips in store and went to tell the counter staff where upon the guy touched my chips with his hand and said they aren't that cold. I have had cause to complain to the overall manager 4 times for cold food the wrong food and the fact the toilets were filthy and they keep running out of dips and milkshakes . It really is the worst mcdonalds I've ever been to. They would last 5 seconds in America where they know what good...

Staff walk around with no want to be there and no care for service to the customer. Orders are often delayed to the point of almost walking out and wanting money back. Toilets are disgusting and are allways a mess generaly with excrement on the toilet seat or urine on the floor, my wife says the womesn toilets also have blood on the toilet seats.....so make sure to wipe your feet on the way out as you wouldn't want that in your dining area, speaking of the dining area, with salad and food on seats and floor, with remnants of the previous customers meal left on the table for you to rest your lunch on for extra flavor, is a fantastic experience and reminds you of the days before hygene stardards a real trip back in time. And the food either burned or undercooked and oil used for the frying must be old as it leaves a bad taste that brings you back to the days of eating at the roadside caffes with my father when I was child. Hardly surprising given management is mostly people in their late teens or very early 20s. And most the staff are teenagers that would rather speak to each other than work. I don't see a single hair net on staff with long hair or a beard net which is fantastic as i love the extra source keratin and the dandruff flakes really add some much needed texture so im glad that mcdonalds doesn't seem to follow this industry standard that all other fast food resturants seem to follow. Honesty I will not be returning to this particular mcdonalds and will stick with melksham...
