McDonald's — Restaurant in England

This place reminds me why I shouldn't use McDonalds any more.

The food was only lukewarm, including the fries which didn't taste fresh. Normally I'd have taken it back, but I'd opened my paperwork to do some work, I am tired and just couldn't be bothered going up to the counter. I'd already given up.

The girl who brought the food to my table couldn't have shown she was less interested if she tried. Called out the number, plonked it down next to me, and walked off. Clearly as much care was taken in selecting warm food items as was spent in customer service. At least it was only a short wait, hence the two stars for 'Service', otherwise it would have been one star.

What completely did my head in though, were the constant alarms going off in the kitchen. Non-stop. I don't remember being more irritated in. McDonalds. Why are the alarms so loud that the sounds flood the customer area? Seriously. Does no manager or owner even consider this? Or care? I've been sat here now for about 20 mins and they are still going off.

Dunelm is across the junction, and I walked past their cafe to come here instead. I will now go from here to Dunelm to have a cake and a cup of tea. Next time I am in Kettering, I will walk past McDonalds to go to the cafe in Dunelm. I've learned my lesson.

Check your fries if using drive thru as mostly only half filled.

Everytime i have used this drive thru and ordered large fries or any size to be honest i have ended up with it just half filled. The last time was just a quarter filled. You can tell them but makes no difference because they still carry on doing it, reason being most people do not check the bag when doing a drive thru.

Funny how when i have eaten in this restaurant the fries are filled more close to how they should be because obviously you see them and would complain.

The staff that are packing up your food will see the fries are hardly filled and they still put them in. This is a deliberate and imtentional move. I was told by a staff member they like to save costs in this restaurant and with charging for dips here i can see this is true as not every mcdonalds charge for dips.

The only way to stop them conning you is to check the fries before driving off and tell them to refill to the size it should be.

The last time i had 4 lots of fries 3 of them only half filled and 1 was just a quarter full so basically not even the amount of 2 large fries. We know other people that been using drive thru and same complaint happens.

Ordered a mcflurry Large only to get kids side in large cup. Went back to window the friendly chap at the window kindly and politly got the manager. She come to window I explained it was not the correct size and she said it was fine. I explained that I know a number of managers and use the outlet multiple times a week her attitude was bad I asked for a refund. She walked off. I offered the lad I would move down to next window so he can continue his hard work. When I got to the next window the server continued her orders while the manager did my refund. I asked for the managers name and she refused to give her name. I explained it was so I can take it up with someone else she still refused. I explained I will wait until she does she replied she will call the police..... then I said to the young server if I point my video away so not footage of server will be recorded will she just said aloud the manager the approached the window with a smile and then the manager shouted "millie just say my name is something else" this is not what I expected to hear from a senior member of staff who refused to show her badge. I have attached the receipt for the serious managers...
