Went to this Mcdonalds on Saturday 27th March. Because the Dunstable one on Luton Road has not been great the last few times we visited. We ordered through the app, usually the app tells you that money will be taken on card provided once we have confirmed arrival. It was quite busy since it was a Saturday. Someone was outside managing the queue of cars and taking peoples orders with their tablet. Didn't have to wait very long. Got to the window and this Girl said that I still have to pay it looks like so i just questioned her oh does the app not take my money and she said oh it doesn't say it on here let me go and check. Then this man, what i presume to be her "supervisor or manager" came and said "LOOK YOU HAVE TO PAY IT SAYS DECLINED ON HERE", almost ripping his screen from the cables. He spoke in a very rude tone that I dont' care for. I NEVER said that i wasn't going to pay, I even had my payment ready. I just wanted to confirm and all the girl had to say was my card was declined on the screen. I wasn't even being rude about it.
So there you go, just because it is slightly busy, that is a reason to "shout" at customers - you just can't question anything anymore. He was lucky that I am not a "traveller" or a huge buffoon.

This seems to be focused on drive-thru customers, and forcing the walk-ins to use the drive-thru or to use the automated kiosks, which are quite frankly useless. Obviously this is a ploy to reduce front of house staff members but as you can’t talk to a kiosk, it’s become a major issue if something goes wrong as there’s not many people left you can talk to without interrupting the kitchen staff.
If it’s busy, you walk in to utter confusion as there’s no clear waiting area for those that have ordered and you end up with people stood everywhere, often blocking the kiosks or one human member of staff allowed to serve if people insist on it. The new ticket system is also majorly annoying as the food doesn’t always come out in order, with people often getting angry as they watch others get their food who ordered after them.

I went here for a quick meal and I spent 30 minutes minimum in the drive through que, it's like they're forced to make good customer service........ NOT GOOD.
The pay point window was ok apart from the young man that gave me a price with no receipt plus I couldn't see my order on screen like you usually can when you pay.
At the collection point the young man gave me my burger without my fries or my drink in the end he made 3 trips to get the rest of my meal he had no clue what he was doing.
This is the 3rd time a confusion regarding my order has happened within the staff at this branch. If your looking for a Mc Donald's in the area please don't leave without checking your order first.
THIS BRANCH SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN...
