Meadow Lea is wonderful little gem of a cafe at the end of the Greenway Cycle route, making it fantastic for cyclists and walkers. There are great facilities for cyclists and dogs are welcome too. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Seating is available both inside and outside. There are some toy sit-on trucks for small children to play on too. A small number of parking spaces are available. This cafe is situated on a working farm but I've always found it to be immaculately clean.

Called in on Saturday lunchtime, first time I'd been there, but had gone past several times and always seemed to be busy. Very popular. Got tables inside and out. Good menu, from all day breakfast including vegetarian. Toasties, wraps, jacket spuds, egg on toast, and cake, teas & coffee. Open 9 til 4. Well worth a visit or two.

Went here for the first time today. It is very nice. A really clean, fresh, modern bikers café. But also works well for families and passers by. There’s a good selection of hot food: all-day breakfasts, sandwiches, soup and deserts. Tea and coffee are very nice. The service is with a smile ;)

First time visit and it will take a lot of convincing too go back. A busy day and staff, whilst friendly, were clearly overwhelmed with tabled left uncleared. Having ordered a breakfast and coffee I had to chase my food order 45 minutes later to find I'd had been forgotten. I appreciate mistakes are made and the staff were apologetic. However the breakfast I then received was clearly a rushed attempt to just get an order out. The fried egg appeared as if it had been left on the side for an hour, rubbery and with a plastic like skin. The sausages appeared fried on one side then placed in a microwave or under a heat lamb to rush the order, baked beans had hardened whilst the tomato was warm but uncooked. An order slipping through the ticket system is understandable, it happens, but then to provide something of such poor quality... unbelievably disappointed and for the price...

We were the first visitors of the day. Shortly after a couple came and sat at table 18 next to us. They came in with their dog and promptly laid a blanket on the floor for it to lie on, then a bowl was filled with water from a container ( there is always a bowl of water just outside the door for dogs to have a drink ) then another bowl was produced and some dog food was put out. Not very nice to see when you come in for breakfast. The owner quickly removed it once it was finished, and put it in a bag. Wonder if she was hoping no one had noticed it. Why on earth could they not have fed it before leaving the house like most respectful dog owners would do. This has definitely put us off this place. Don’t think we...

So much potential. Nice location, clean and modern building, friendly staff, great cakes, decent coffee.

Service lacking at times, don't clear plates quick enough off outside tables (even when food brought out), food possibly cheaply purchased as the quality of sausages and other items often very poor. Could do with a professional chef doing some consultancy to educate kitchen staff. So many similar places have great food but the mains here are bang average.

For the price it's not bad but a local competitor could easily do a better job and take customers elsewhere. For example the pub in Guilden Sutton has far superior food and may be open more often in the daytime...
