Moments Cafe — Restaurant in England

The staff were Incredible. (A lovely young lady who served us with kindness and smiles throughout despite her being harassed by cruel, rude customers opposite who should have left instead of being disrespectful to staff who are clearly trying their best. All of the staff were exceptional.

Food was spot on, vegan options were available and were told they would be able to veganise anything on the menu for us and drinks menu in abundance along side deserts. If we had more time we would have opted for deserts too.

The environment and ambience was delightful. Loved the kids den and the area with the cosy sofas was a perfect zone for new mothers with babies.

I would describe this as a young family or new mothers paradise. Worth the time, travel and the money.

Looking forward to introducing groups of new mothers and other young families who appreciate good food, drinks, customer service and ambience.

Real gem of a place! Wonderfully characterful building, cosy and comfortable. The greeting as warm and friendly as the place. The menu is small but offers a great choice, including plenty for vegans and gluten intolerant folks like myself. In fact, more of the cakes were gluten free than weren't! My choice of cafe for birthday lunch....it was so good that we were back two days later to try more things. I'm an utter coffee snob and certainly wasn't disappointed by the flat whites on each occasion. It's so nice that they use Lonton, a roaster from the same town. The taste of the coffee is so much better than the stuff found in chains!! Excellent service from beginning to end just topped off both of our visits. Hope to be back...

Live in Barnard Castle and only just found this little gem of a place. Beautiful cute cafe, healthy options, light snacks and meals(see menu), lay out is qwerky with tables ranging from 2 seater to partys of 8/10, lower levels they have super cumphy couches and chairs, with kids corner to accommodate the smaller humans. First time here I tried the avocado on toast with extra eggs, enjoyed so much I returned the next day, the soup was delishous, bread was super fresh, the Omlette was a special request and probably the best I have had, filling was ham and cheese, so light and fluffy.
