Myself and 2 friends popped in there on a Sunday night as we take part in the quiz night there. I wasnt disappointed in the customer service i received from the staff and manager. Excellent in fact. I ordered a burger and chips from the menu and Ethan served me in a very friendly and polite manner. Best look on the website for further details about food and drink menus. I didn't have long to wait either. The food was hot and luscious. Chips were chunky yet fluffy centred and burger was well cooked. Very happy with the choice I made. Too full for pudding though. My friends ordered drinks only. Clean covd19 rules in place and very welcoming to everyone. Children and disabled friendly. Definitely worth visiting. Car park at the side, smoking area outside with seating. Toilets were very clean too. Sunday 26 th March 2023. Came in here with two friends . My friend and I was hungry, so we saw that they offered 20% off all their Roast dinners and thought we would both try the beef. My friend had extra pigs in blankets. There was no Pepsi, so my friend wasn't charged for her drinks. We waited about 10-15 mins for both meals to come. What a LET down!!!! Yorkshire pudding was nice, Vegetables were not hot, and were mushy. Roast potatoes looked like they were from frozen. The stuffing ball were ROCK hard and if anyone with dentures or teeth issues, bit into it, it would hurt someone. Hack saw at the ready for that one!! The meet was chewy and only 2 thin slices. My friend said her carrots were soggy. The manager said the Roast dinner was worth trying. Will not be eating it again and neither will my friend. It's hit and miss really depending on the time of day you go as to the quality of the food. I was a chef once and know when something should not leave the pass because of the quality of the food and seriously would ask for the Manager or servers to check the food for temperature etc when it goes out every so often. There is now portion controls. Disappointed even with 20% off the meal. I feel it was a waste of money I could have spent on another item off...

Last night (at about 22:45) me and my friend were trying to enjoy a pleasant drink outside when out of nowhere a glass was thrown by someone else in the beer garden and very nearly hit my friend in the face, it wasnโ€™t aimed at her but was so close that she said she felt it brush past her face as it was thrown. The glass then obviously shattered as it was thrown with such force, and when a lovely member of the bar team came to clean it up my friend was understandably still very upset. The bar member could see this and assured us she would then grab the bar manager. So we stayed where we were but 10 minutes went by and the bar manager was nowhere to be seen, until we went inside to find him and then got a shock to find he was stood behind the bar collecting glasses. We then had to grab him for a chat which is unacceptable as he should have been the one to check on us. We asked him why he didnโ€™t come out straight away to which his response was โ€œI was looking at the CCTVโ€, which is a shameful excuse. The bar managerโ€™s name is Matthew and he should be ashamed of himself. He made no effort to help resolve the situation there and then, and just decided to hide in his office rather than face the people involved (I need to add there were plenty of witnesses outside so his first response should have been to speak with them, and then look at the CCTV after). I should also add that there were children present when there really shouldnโ€™t have been, any pub that allows children in after 9pm should feel...

New menu, lovely and friendly staff, and Lush food. I go here for a pub quiz that they run from 7 pm to around 9:30-10pm. ( ยฃ1 per person and a cash prize and runner-up prizes of wine).on a Sunday evening. As I am part of a team that takes part. I can highly recommend the steak with a good choice side. If you don't want chips, they offer Mash, Jacket potato, or Salad. Ask about vegetarian options or check out the menu. Also, have a good range of spirits, beers, and lagers on tap cocktail menu and a glorious Sunday roast available till 5pm. Soft drinks are available, too. Children friendly and free WiFi. Sports are available to watch. Wheelchairs are welcome, too. Dogs are also welcome, I enjoy a good laugh with the staff and manager/ess. Join, Joe, Ciaran, Craig and all the staff for excellent service, and Lush food and a very good atmosphere. The smoking areas are available ( just ask one of the bar staff). Sorry, there are no photos. Children's menu is available, and you can build your own dessert as I did last week. You can pay for each item or for smaller treats. Try using the kids...

A huge festive shoutout to the amazing unsung heroes at the Moorhen pub in Hampton, Peterborough! Who worked the Christmas day shift ๐ŸŽ„โœจ You made the Robinson/Montgomery Christmas Day lunch truly unforgettable. ๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŒŸ With flawless service, incredible attention to detail, and a mouthwatering menu, it was a feast to remember. ๐Ÿด๐ŸŽ… Lots of empty plates, a couple of wine bottles, and plenty of smiles all around. Cheers to you! ๐Ÿท๐ŸŽ‰ First year without both my mother and father alive so I wanted too create new memories and do something entirely different. All boxes ticked Thankyou on behalf of all the family. Paul & Clare Robinson.
