This place is a game changer. Don’t think, just order or visit…. Now, like right now!!!

Oh my days!! Only one mistake here, why have I waited so long to try this place.

Great menu first of all, plenty of choice and inventiveness, without getting ridiculous, and well priced.Speedy delivery, but not so fast you question quality, 40/50 mins or so. Nice friendly driver gave me a call when nearly there. Handed over the food with a big smile even though I had no cash for a tip.

Back in the kitchen, unwrapping these, what I can only describe as utter gifts, the aromas start being release. Quick open and quality check of EVERYTHING, Yano wouldn’t want the missus eating anything dodgy 😂👀. And OH MY DAYS. Every bite, perfectly cooked, utterly fresh, high quality ingredients, explosions of different flavours and spice. Best of all, perfectly heat gauged, none of this blow your face off just to avoid having to actually produce flavour.

It was that good, immediately called the restaurant to thank them for their culinary skills. Lovely woman on the phone was ever so polite and appreciative!

Now having sat here having demolished the BEST poppadoms I have ever had (again none of this cheap stuff like eating styrofoam) warm and proper crunch, thicker than usual, with the best dips I’ve ever had the joy to taste.

The mixed grill platter, just taste sensation. Again fresh, full of flavour and beats any takeaway kebab hands down. The lamb… perfect!!

I’ve only had above quality check taste of mains but safe to say I’ve found a new takeaway. No greasy slot, you almost feel you can get away with it being a “healthy” takeaway it’s that fresh.

TEAM THANK YOU. You’ve a new customer for life in me and anyone I can possibly tell how great you are and will be visiting to eat in soon, I simply have to now!!!

Had some terrible experiences with Uber Eats, just eat etc recently, even a local Chinese I literally had to get to come and collect the food it was that awful even my bin didn’t deserve it!

And this place, has just restored all the faith in Cornwall takeaways!!! So much variation on the menu, you don’t need another.

On that note… DING DING Round 2. I’m off to destroy a lamb balti and couldn’t be happier.

Bit of a pleasant suprise. This small curry house in Cambourne looks a bit basic, but oh, the food 😋

We ordered a lamb vindaloo and a lamb dupiaza for our mains with a peshwari naan and plain rice to accompany them. We took a few poppadoms as a starter.

The poppadoms were super fresh, light, and very tasty, the perfect start to our meal. The mains were something else, though. Both dishes were served with delicious chunks of tender lamb, full of flavour that melted in the mouth. The vindaloo sauce was amazing, a strong hit of pepper as it entered the mouth, followed quickly by the sweetness of tomatoes. The dupiaza was lightly spiced with just a hint of sweetness, exactly as it should be.

My only grumble would be the peshwari naan. Although freshly cooked and tasty, it was somewhat lacking in filling. There is a hint of sugar and coconut but no dried fruit or nuts. That being said, it did not distract from the overall meal.

Large portions and reasonable prices made this a meal to remember. You can be sure that if we ever visit Cambourne again, the Nawaab will definitely be on the...

Outstanding Indian Cuisine and Service at Nawaab

We recently visited Nawaab Indian Restaurant while on a trip to Cornwall with family, and it was an unforgettable dining experience. As visitors from Birmingham, we know our Indian flavors, and Nawaab did not disappoint! The food was absolutely excellent—every dish was rich in authentic taste, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection.
