NISI — Restaurant in England

Really disappointed. We ordered at 6.45pm and we still haven't received the order at 9pm. We have called twice to chase this and been informed all orders are behind. At 8.15 they said the order was being prepared and would be with us at 8.30.

We just called again at 8.55pm and was informed the order was waiting in the restaurante for another delivery which are going together. So our food was ready and waiting cold.

8.57 receive a call asking if we could confirm we wanted to cancel our order. We did not want to cancel. We wanted our foot which was ordered 2 hours prior however if wasn't ready we would then cancel as it is now 9pm.

Very dissappited as we want to support local businesses however if you are short staffed do not accept orders in the first place and then noone will be waiting and frustrated/ disappointed.

I am sorry to say that there was absolutely nothing good about this place! Stuffy atmosphere, smell of smoke and burnt food that stayed with u after leaving the restaurant. It was so cold in there that we had to wear our coats all the time we were there. When we asked a member of staff to turn the heating on they said they would look into it, but they never did. We got to order our drinks 30 mins after arrival and our food 45 mins after. Wine tasted vinegary was impossible to drink. Food came 45-60 mins after we ordered it. They hadn’t even brought the salads or appetisers till then. All food was pre frozen. Courgette fritters were served half frozen and we had to return them. Something, either the vinegary wine or the food gave 2 of us a food poisoning. It was a really horrible dining...

If you want to escape to Greece for a great meal, come to Midosmer Norton! Nisi is a Greek restaurant run by a Greek couple. They cook with heart and tradition, which makes every dish special. They serve Greek wine and other stronger Greek spirits if you'd like to try them. We had the chance to visit with our friend for their 30th birthday.
