Visited today after the rain as never been here since before the town park was being built it was nice to see it all open and a nice seating area by the river and a stage area for shows and different events there is a big open green area for community events although it was boggy and lots of surface water after the rain so should have had land drainage installed when it was all being built wich would have prevented the water from staying after the rain and also not flooding people out on any events there when raining. Also the gravel path heading towards radstock only goes so far and ends on a muddy and slippery path so would need suitable footwear for walking along there on wet days. I like that they have installed proper paths and steps to allow you to get to the cycle path and Westfield easier and safer. The town park would be a nice place to go have picnic, kick about and to get away from the town for some time out from the town during the nice weather. It would be 4 stars if there was better drainage preventing flooding.

Also be careful walking along the path by the river as there is in places some erosion of the embankment wich if not paying attention could result in falling in...

Really nice park, pretty stream and lots of trees. Good walking tracks. Central location but doesn't feel like it's in a town....
