Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in England

I used to regularly order from papa johns but after my experience last week I will avoid them in the future and, in particular, this store.

I ordered XXL pizzas and received large pizzas by mistake. They took the pizzas away promising to send me the pizzas I ordered but after waiting for over an hour I had to call and ask where my pizza was.

They refused to cancel my order, refund me or send me the right pizzas. The manager is never there and the people on the phone fobbed me off saying they couldn't help me without the manager. I've had to resort to contacting the head office in pursuit of my refund for the pizzas that weren't delivered to me. I'm still waiting for a refund and the store continue to tell me they can't help me.

I will be sure to avoid this store in the future and would advise anyone else to do the same.

Absolutely horrendous...

I have been a loyal fan of Pizza Hut for many years and decided to give Papa John's Pizza on Marsh Road Leagrave a try. The take away restaurant has a five star food hygiene rating which was very reassuring. I ordered my pizza and delivery took around thirty minutes. The pizzas were very hot, had so much toppings and cheese on there. I have to say it was the best take out pizza I have ever had, absolutely delicious. I have since ordered many times from here and the service from Thesin and Vivek is just fantastic. Friendly and competent staff which Pizza Hut Delivery across the road lack! Ordered 2 pizza’s and they were stone cold. Called them and they said to come back with the pizza’s so they can see why it’s cold which doesn’t make sense. They couldn’t guarantee me fresh pizzas yet they wanted me to drive down so they can inspect my pizza insinuating that I’m lying. What happened to the customer is right? Will not be ordering from this place again. He also had the audacity to say because we picked it up and drove home, that’s why it’s cold….
