Peloton Café — Restaurant in England

Had a groupon offer for 2 full english breakfast. On arrival i ordered, was told it might be a 15 minute wait which wasnt a problem. In addition order beans on toast and asked for a sausage with it for our 3 year old. Was told sorry no sausages (thought it was a bit weird when I'd just ordered full English!) Ordered a slice of bacon thinking I'd swap little one my sausage off my breakfast. 2 breakfast arrived, bacon, beans, chopped tomatoes and scrambled egg. My idea of a full english is SAUSAGES, bacon, beans, FRIED egg and preferably tomato or mushrooms or hashbrown or all etc. They then forgot little girls breakfast. 3 year old with no food, can you imagine and shes annoyed as no sausages! Extra bacon forgotten completely. Toast for full english arrived after my other half had finished breakfast. Food was bland and scrambled egg rubbery.If it wasn't for the fact I'd bought this with an additional 50% off and only £4.75 for the both I'd have complained. No way id pay £9 never mind the £18 the full price is supposed to be (as per groupon as a full english isnt even on their menu!!!) To top it off was like sitting in a sauna with sun beaming in and no blinds and patio door shut. Bought a cake&coffee groupon for this place to but cant say id be in a hurry to use it. Much better cafes in Anlaby. Sorry serious...

Lovely café. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service just disappointed with choice of cakes. Will return to try some savoury food😃

Hi. I didn't mean my review to be negative at all and I thought I'd given 4 stars. I like to be truthful in all my reviews and as a business owner myself know how important they are. I suppose I'm used to visiting cafés that have 4 or more choices of cake and maybe it was just unfortunate that the 2 that were on offer the day we visited weren't really to our taste. Regular visitor to this cafe, as usual ordered two pots of tea enough for one and a half cups from each pot. This time received one teapot and ONE teabag for two people. Not happy complained was given a teabag! Had to ask for more hot water and got a tiny jug of hot water. It's not as good as it used to be. Not over friendly. Some people go to cafés for company and a bit of chat it's a gym so it's a community and that includes the cafe, people get lonely and appreciate a bit of chat but not today. Uncleared tables of leftovers in this heat is disgusting and staff sat around a table for a very long break. We was sat outside for a very long time and we left them still sat at the table.
