Went to take my dad to have something to eat on Saturday 18th of June for father's day only to be told my the barmaid that they don't serve food on a Saturday even tho my brother rang them to make sure & they told him yes just come in as we was leaving two guy in a car had some balloons & a cake with 50th on so it looked like they had booked the pub up for that so to me the happy barmaid lied to us instead of telling us the truth & it even said on the advert board out side they serve food from wendesday to Sunday very disappointing place after getting my dad to go all the way there only to be turneway & not been able to find any where else & in the end ended up getting fish & chips plus spoiling a surprise father's day meal thank you the...

The three tuns is a big attractive traditional community pub. The bar is large but cozy, the original features, wood paneling and the open fireplace have all survived, which is quite remarkable and impressive considering very few original pub interiors have survived the craze of stripped wood and grey paint. There is a good selection of beers lager and ciders, but sadly no cask conditioned real ale. There is a pool table and dart board. Went to a special man's funeral today . Afterwards to The Three Tuns. The staff couldn't do enough for all the people that attended and there were a lot! The food was brought in by outside caterers. The guy even went to the local chip shop to purchase the chips! The drawings of the Beatles and David Bowie and song lyrics really get you thinking which song they are from. Prices of alcohol is ridiculously cheap and top class quality from the pumps too. The horse drawn carts were allowed to be tethered on the pub grounds.
