Pepe's — Restaurant in England

The quality of the food I received was shockingly poor. Firstly, the chips included in my order were served cold, indicating a lack of attention to detail in food preparation. Additionally, the burger I received appeared to have been severely mishandled, as it looked flattened and distorted, resembling something that had been stepped on rather than carefully crafted. Moreover, I paid for a Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream (465ml), expecting a delicious treat to accompany my meal. However, upon opening the packaging, I was appalled to discover that the ice cream was outdated and the container was extremely dirty, suggesting that it had been previously melted and refrozen. This level of negligence in food handling is utterly unacceptable and raises serious health concerns. Despite not physically dining in at your establishment, the substandard quality of the food I received reflects poorly on your restaurant's reputation. I have documented evidence of these issues through photographs, and I intend to escalate this matter to Trading Standards UK. I just wanted to give some well-deserved recognition to a staff member at Pepe’s — I believe his name is Ayaan (I actually asked one of his colleagues because he stood out so much).

Every time I’ve come in, Ayaan has been consistently polite, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Even when it’s busy, he stays calm and gets through orders quickly without cutting corners. He clearly knows what he’s doing and seems to genuinely care about giving good service, which makes a big difference as a customer.

It’s rare to see someone that switched-on, especially in fast food, and it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve had nothing but great experiences when he’s working — he represents the brand really well.

Honestly, people like Ayaan are the reason customers keep coming back. I hope management sees how valuable he is, because he definitely deserves some recognition — and in my opinion, a pay rise wouldn’t be out of place.

I went there yesterday, the interior seating is good and immaculate, the food was ok, presumably baby chicken is used.

But one thing I encountered was a young girl in her teenage,wearing a head scarf partially covered (which I am having the issue about), one issue I had the manner and the way she talked was very unwelcoming, I ordered a half chicken, by mistake I should of got full chicken, I did apologize, but the reply from her was very sour.

For that, in my judgement I'm going to score a two star, 1 star ⭐ for immaculate 2nd 🌟 for price was okay
