PiriCo Swindon — Restaurant in England

Ordered a takeaway and was delayed by 1hr 30 mins, while waiting I called up a few times asking if they knew when it'd arrive and I was told it'd be delivered within minutes. The second time I called the person said he sent it out 20 minutes ago, but he would include some extra things to make up for the delay... how would he do this if the order was sent already?

I have worked in food service myself for years in the past so I understand slip ups happen when there's a rush and that's okay, but this seems to be a common theme judging from other reviews so no effort's being made to improve this :( very disappointed.

I also didn't receive the correct order, I ordered the combo piri chicken and beef rice box and I got the chicken rice meal, with a banged up ice cream tub and some extra chicken nuggets... all of it was cold. I picked at it but mostly lost my appetite.

I appreciate the extra things they included but I didn't get what I ordered, waited nearly 2 hours and it was cold by the time it got here. I hope PiriCo can improve their overall quality of service because I can see their food looked great in the past and it's a shame it's gone...

I made an order at 7.30pm 08/02/2025 by phone and the employee said it will be ready 15 to 20 mins. I arrived at 7.51PM and he said it will be another 5 minutes. He basically hadn't even started preparing the order, only 3 items. And yet for the next 10 minutes or so he was just gossiping loudly with some guy who was leaning on/over the counter. Another customer who was sat waiting there before me got up and complained that his order was taking so long. My order eventually came out at 8.11pm. 41 minutes for a small order, only two customers waiting in the restaurant. I was sat waiting at one of the dining tables otherwise the guy who was gossiping at the counter was in the way. The dining area has no aircon. The whole area was full of cooking steam and smoke from the grill. Its not a professional place. Other problems I have had in the past include they never have change in the till. Never...

today they have lost a customer there service today was awful!!

They took my order and waited hrs for it to arrive even when I rang twice to see where it was, I was told it was on the way. 2+ hrs later food arrived freezing cold. I demanded fresh food as I will not give my children food that has clearly been sat around for ages. 4 times the lad over the phone told me to call back in 5 minutes while he could get hold of his manager. he was so rude!!

1hr after I first called, they wouldn't answer, then they call myself back and say we will take the cold food and deliver fresh food 2hrs on still waiting and no answer again!

typical!!! quick enough to take our money!! will never recommend to anyone and will never use these again!! stay...
