Tennessee Chicken (Gorse Hill) — Restaurant in England

This review is exclusively for the GORSE HILL TENNESSEE CHICKEN IN SWINDON. We usually order from VICTORIA ROAD and have never had a problem but unfortunately we had to use GORSE HILL. We ordered our chicken at 5.50pm expectingthe usual fast service. After an hour of waiting I called the GORSE HILL SHOP and asked when my order would be delivered. The rudest woman on earth lied to me and told me the order was already on its way. 30 minutes later I called again and once again she lied to me and said it had left ages ago. 10 minutes later the driver arrived and I asked him when he had picked up the order. He said about 12 minutes ago, proving that the woman I spoke too wasn't telling me the truth. The meal from this GORSE HILL shop was greasy and tasted of unclean fat from the fryer. It was disgusting and I will never order from this GORSE HILL SHOP again. I would not recommend anyone order from the GORSE HILL BRANCH OF TENNESSEE CHICKEN as the food is disgusting and the service is rubbish. If I was management I would close this GORSE HILL BRANCH down with immediate effect before it ruined the...

I've been ordering in person here regularly for years for my family. Our regular order normally consists of Peri Peri wings (10) equally split between BBQ & Lemon & Herbs. Peri Peri Wrap, Spicy Wings with fries and z Chicken Fillet Burgers. Always pleased with the service from staff and can't fault the food. As a food, critic I'm happy to see that they consistently produce food that is well seasoned and taste great.

The BBQ chicken reminds my wife somewhat of true Caribbean BBQ..(7/10) for Comparison ;-)

Excellent price for the quality of grilled chicken.. They are by far a much much better alternative to similar restaurants in Swindon town centre serving Peri Peri grilled at 3x the price. Some new staff joined but getting the jist of things and customers. They get to know their regulars which is great. Only downside is that it's more of a collection and limited to a couple seatings. If it had places like a restaurant, I'm sure it'd be a great place to sit and eat....

I ordered for collection. I ordered some wings, and this is what I received . I had already seen that they were out of wings and were rushing whilst they were cooking . I went back and returned them to the store , the manager said that it was typically because they had just been freshly taken out , but upon close look they were obviously raw . The manager had a brief look at them and they were kept aside . I did mentioned that I was happy to show her the parts where you could see the rawness but she denied by saying it’s normal . Even showed her the pictures but it didn’t change nth . She only suggested for a replacement for the wings which I denied to.
