Prees Fish & Chips — Restaurant in England

The place it's self is like the ritz of chip shops, inside is immaculate to say the least, it also looks great from the outside. The food however was a different story, vinegared down mayo and ketchup to the point it taking your breath away when bringing it near to your mouth. A burger that possible came from a fridge freezer at farm foods. Chips that were nearly a old as me and all served in a poly tray. Took a couple of bites of each item, kids started moaning and for once I was in full agrence. The whole lot went in the nearest bin and I learnt not to waste my breaks not slowing down next time. My taste buds wrote me a strong letter of complaint so save your break pads and keep on to...

Serve Large chips as standard, you have to ask for regular, fair enough if the chips were nice, but they're not....they're overcooked and dry...regular should be default serving...overpriced....

Thanks for your reply...I see that you've attempted a gloss over reply, I paid around £8.70 for mini fish and chips, that's 3.75 for the chips, and 3.75 for the small fish, 1.20 for can pop... takeaway...I ate meal in your car park outside so it was only wrapped for 2 minutes at the most..I don't complain, waste of time, I give honest reviews.. Rather than get defensive you should be improving faults, and then you'll have better...

Have eaten here many times in the years since it opened but due to declining standards of customer service and absolutely ridiculous wait times for food, I now feel the need to amend my initial 5 star review.

Aside from the preposterous waiting times to be served, they have also served me the wrong food twice now.

Sometimes when a business is doing well it can lead to complacency, I think they are starting to take their success for granted and it shows in the attitudes of the staff and the slipping standards of service.
