Pride of Burnham — Restaurant in England

We had a table booked for 10 people for my uncles birthday which was booked within 2/3 weeks in advance. When we first arrived they told us to order from the bar which we did then was completely being ignored for the 3rd time of asking for some popadoms. Eventually we got them and after the second and 3rd time of asking for them we asked to order food, we then got the menus taken off two of our guests at the table to be used on another table after completely being ignored after asking 3 times to order our meals we finally had enough. This is not the first time it has happened to us, we received the same treatment the first time of going there for their wednesday deal. The first time after we said how slow they were they told us to just ask for them to speed things up which we did and have received the same treatment for a second time. Ordered a home delivery at 7.08 for 2 people , we were informed that it would take an hour. After an hour and half made a call to them, I was told it would take an 10 mins 15 mins 20 mins not sure. And the Pride of Burnham had to ask me where I lived in Burnham. At 2 hours waiting , we were just about to cancel and make a sandwich and the door bell went. Just over £30 lighter , our boxes were half empty , tasted as if it was a made up sauce from the supermarket . just plain no taste , no other bits added just plain sauce . The bombay pots were just boiled pots with the same dull sauce dipped over. The onion barg were so hard and crispy we could not eat as we were afraid our teeth would be damaged. If we were told that it would be longer than an hour we would have not ordered. I know times are hard but delivered food which we were could not eat. Mine went in the bin. first time we tried them. Thank you for making my wife's 70th birthday so special. She loves your restaurant and food, always well cooked and delicious. The best Indian restaurant ever. My whole family from the oldest to the youngest always enjoy our visits to the Pride of Burnham, the management and staff always make us feel extremely welcome and are very family friendly! The restaurant team from the owner to the waiters, go that extra mile when it's a special occasion or a birthday. I highly recommend the Pride of Burnham for special occasions, also just for a quiet meal, it's an experience you cannot miss as the food is superb and the service is second to none.
